NFD · The useful details

Privacy

NFD helps people share experiences and learn from one another. This page explains what information the app receives and how shared posts are shown.

Last updated October 29, 2026

When you sign in with Google

Google shares your account identifier, verified email address, and profile name with NFD when you choose Google sign-in. NFD stores those details to identify your account. NFD requests only basic sign-in information; it does not read your Gmail messages, contacts, or password.

What NFD stores when you post

NFD stores the experience details you submit, including the categories, place, time, short and full descriptions, and any photos or documents you attach. Your account record is stored in NFD’s database, and attached files are stored with the post.

Who can see a shared experience

Experiences you submit are shared in the NFD feed, which signed-in NFD users can view. Photos and documents you attach are shown with the post. A post may contain names or other details you typed, so leave out private information you do not want other NFD users to see.

Questions about your information

For privacy questions or a request about your information, use the support contact shown on NFD’s Google sign-in consent screen.
